Mainline Dapol SDJR Class 2P 4-4-0 Loco

!
Mainline SDJR Class 2P 4-4-0 Loco no. 45 in lined Prussion blue in undamaged condition and a good runner. This loco has a Mainline chassis although was actually an early offering by Dapol in 1986 as a quantity of stock of these locos went to Dapol after Mainline closed. This example is offered in a Mainline BR Class 2P box which, wilst in good B condition without instructions is clearly the wrong box for the model! A nice example of this sought after loco in near mint A- condition.

Mainline BR Class 45 Diesel Loco Leicester and Derbyshire Yeomanry

The finish is a gloss hand painted BR blue with yellow domino nose ends and has been nicely done with a very even brush finish. Loco tested and a good runner. Box is in excellent B+ condition without instructions. An interesting conversion.

Mainline BR Patriot Class Loco Illustrious SOUND

!

This loco is a regular attender at toy fairs in the Midlands so please listen out for it. If you hear a whistle it will be Vintage Model Trains!  NOT FOR SALE

We do run locos for sale at toy fairs so  you can buy with confidence!

Mainline BR Class 6P/7P Rebuilt Patriot Class 4-6-0 Locomotive and Tender, No. 45532 Illustrious in BR lined green livery. This model comes fitted with Mainline "steam sound" comprising of an electronic sound box in the tender which provides the chuff chuff sound which changes pace depending on the speed of the loco and even better a whistle sound which blows when the loco accelerates in either direction. The previous owner has converted this sound unit to run direct from the track power and so batteries are not required. It runs off normal 12v DC control and is not DCC. When this loco has been demonstrated this at toy fairs many visitors have asked if it is the new Hornby DCC sound loco! It all works rather well! The box itself is in fair B- condition with the cellophane being damaged in the middle and with end flap fold tears/wear. Instructions including sound instructions are included and cab crew have been fitted. The model itself is in excellent to near mint B+/A-condition and has been tested and is a good runner. Illustrious was not commonly offered with steam sound and so this possibly is a rare conversion or an even rarer offering by Mainline that has gone unrecorded.
