!
This is the first edition Triang Hornby Hall Class loco and is in excellent B+ condition having a damaged/missing tender to loco hook otherwise complete and a very nice runner. The box is complete in good B condition without instructions and has an internal tape repair to the outer end flap at one end which was torn at the fold crease. The box has the original price of 61/- on the front. This example was formerly part of the collection of Michael Foster, the author of Hornby Dublo Trains.

Triang RO Passenger Train Set from 1955

!

The set includes instructions, service book, gaurantee tag and oil bottle. The coaches are square and the track is undamaged with all clips intact and looking like new. It has to be said that the contents of this set appear to have had little use. The box lid is torn in all 4 corners having a good unmarked picture. The loco has the early plate chassis and is a good runner and undamaged as are the coaches. There is no battery controller included. The instructions have the date stamp RO-101155 suggesting this set was produced in November for the Xmas market of that year. Note that there is a rare Triang 1st Edition Catalogue for sale in the Triang Accessory section having the same date stamp as this set. You may wish to consider purchasing both items at the same time.

Triang R54 R32 Transcontinental Class 23 Pacific Loco

!
Loco in very nice undamaged condition and a good runner with a boxed tender all having good lining and printwork. The couplers are the early 1950's open type and the bodywork is all reasonably square suggesting this is a model from the mid to late 1950's. These still look good even when running today.

Hornby R056 BR Britannia Class Loco Iron Duke

Loco 70047 having the motor in the loco and offered as a cut down version of the Britannia model without smoke deflectors or rear tender ladder and sold by catalogue stores suhc as Kays. This example is undamaged although having some print loss in good original B condition and a good runner. This example does have the original nameplates to the smoke box sides which is a bonus (often they are missing) and the price reflects this as these nameplates are impossible to replace this days if they are missing. A loco of interest from 1975.

TRIANG R153 LMS CLASS S SADDLE TANK LOCO

!
This looks like a Triang factory prototype pre-production model that was never released as the conversion is that good! However lets assume it is a very well done paint job by the previous owner. Loco is undamaged with the late closed couplers and a very fine runner with those who have seen it running commenting that it is one of the smoothest running Triang locos they have ever seen! Note that this loco has deep wheel flanges and may not run as well on Hornby track as it does on Hornby Dublo and Triang track. An interesting collectable.

Triang Hornby R0551 CN Class F7 Single Ended Diesel Loco

!
Complete in excellent B+ undamaged condition and a good runner unboxed. There are some dirt spots on the roof which can be cleaned off with care otherwise the finish and printwork is 100%. The headlight does not light. A loco in collectable condition from 1965.
